About Our Calligraphy Practice
-
Within my association, Bokutekikai, I have trained extensively in a wide range of styles: Kaisho (regular script), Gyosho (semi-cursive), Sosho (cursive), Kana, large hanging scrolls, modern harmony style, and works up to 2×8 shaku in size.
-
Our classes are designed to help students appreciate the depth and beauty of calligraphy through structured assignments, including traditional Japanese texts and copying Chinese classical masterpieces.
-
Beginners are warmly welcomed, and we strive to create an encouraging and enjoyable learning environment for all.
All nationalities are welcome. We look forward to meeting you.
